Protective Behaviours Level 1 training for Professionals

Protective Behaviours (PB) is a program of safety and empowerment for all people. PB teaches strategies, particularly to children, to keep themselves safe at all times. This Personal Safety Program presents simple safety strategies that adults can easily learn, and then teach to all children they come in contact with.
Professionals participating in this 1.5 day Level 1 training workshop will be equipped to deliver PB to the communities in which they work.

Dates and Times: Monday 24 August, 9am-4pm and Tuesday 25 August 2015, 9am-12noon

Venue: Choose Life Church, 589 Rubenstein Drive, Moreleta Park, Pretoria

Workshop Fee: R960 per person (early discount if registered and paid by 3rd August = R870 pp)

*Certificate from Protective Behaviours in Australia, qualifying you to deliver PB presentations

About the Facilitator:
Hilda O’Callaghan is a qualified trainer who has facilitated learning for the past 25 years throughout Australia. In June 2012 she presented Protective Behaviours at the South African Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (SAPSAC) Conference in Pretoria and received overwhelmingly positive feedback. To date, more than 500 professionals in South Africa have completed PB Level 1 training and many of them are currently delivering PB to children in their communities/schools.
